According to the flash lamp control method and the mobile terminal, the second flashing of the flash lamp is turned off after determining that the flash lamp is sheltered by means of a current sensing signal of a sensor arranged on the surface where the flash lamp locates or through conducting picture analysis on an image acquired by a camera positioned on the same surface of the flash lamp.
