Abstract

The invention discloses a pharmaceutical composition containing folium et cacumen breyniae fruticosae. The medicine is prepared from the following traditional Chinese medicinal raw materials in parts by weight: 10-30 parts of the folium et cacumen breyniae fruticosae, 10-25 parts of herba humuli scandentis, 10-30 parts of radix puerariae, 5-20 parts of rhizoma cimicifugae, 6-15 parts of white atractylodes rhizome, 3-9 parts of radix codonopsis, 3-6 parts of malt, 3-6 parts of fructus crataegi, 3-6 parts of dried orange peel and 1-5 parts of liquorice root. The invention also discloses a preparation method of the medicinal capsules (the pharmaceutical composition). The pharmaceutical composition provided by the invention is rigorous in prescription, low in content of medicinal materials but specific in force; the pharmaceutical composition has a good curative effect on chronic diarrhea caused by damp-heat and deficiency of spleen and stomach; and the pharmaceutical composition is capable of significantly improving such symptoms in patients with the chronic diarrhea as urgent diarrhea or ungratifying diarrhea, brown stools, burning pain in anus, dysphoria with smothery sensation, thirst, abdominal pain, scanty dark urine, yellowish fur, anorexia and fullness of abdomen, hot and sour breath and the like.
