Abstract

The invention provides an unlocking method for an electronic device. The electronic device comprises a touch screen, and the method comprises the steps of: acquiring first data and second data initiated by a user on the touch screen, wherein the first data is information obtained from the frequency that the user clicks a set area on the touch screen, and the second data is information obtained when the user controls a set object on the touch screen to enter an orientation end by gravity sensing; when the first data and the second data are completely matched with preset unlocking data, executing an unlocking operation; and when the first data and the second data are not matched with the preset unlocking data, maintaining the locking state. By combining a mode of recognizing the number of clicks of single-point or multi-point touch with a mode that a gravity sensing device enters a hole in the corresponding direction, an unlocking mode of combining the number of touches with the gravity sensing is realized.
