Abstract

The invention provides a media stream transmission method and device. The method comprises that when a data frame to be transmitted is not a head frame of a media stream to be transmitted, whether the field value of an NALU head structure of the data frame is the same with that of the NALU head structure of a last frame is determined; if YES, the field value of the NALU head structure of the data frame is set as null; the corrected data frame is transmitted to a client; and if the field value of an NALU head structure of the data frame is different from that of the NALU head structure of the last frame, the data frame is transmitted to the client directly. Via the method, the transmission load of the network is reduced in the video transmission process, and the storage space occupied by video data in equipment is reduced.
