Abstract

The invention discloses an OTA hotel inventory management method and system, wherein the management method comprises the following steps of: predicting the room closing duration of each room type of an OTA hotel in different check-in dates, and whether a demand gap exists or not when the room is closed; for the room type having the demand gap, predicting whether a hotel party has the residual inventory or not; and, when the fact that the hotel party has the residual inventory is predicted, issuing invitation to the hotel party, wherein the invitation is used for requesting for increasing the inventory of the room type having the demand gap on an OTA. By means of the OTA hotel inventory management method and system disclosed by the invention, the deficiency that the inventory is added by personal experience in the prior art can be made up; the inventory increasing invitation is issued to the hotel party automatically in a targeted manner; the inventory of the room type having the demand gap can be supplied in time; on one hand, the hotel room type has the enough inventory for being booked by users; on the other hand, overstock due to insufficient booking of a certain room type also can be avoided; and thus, the hotel inventory management efficiency and quality are increased.
