Abstract

The invention provides a hybrid circuit breaker possessing a bridge type induction transfer structure and a usage method thereof. The circuit breaker comprises a main current circuit, an overvoltage limiting circuit and a transfer current circuit. The main current circuit, the overvoltage limiting circuit and the transfer current circuit are connected in parallel. An inductive transfer circuit of the transfer current circuit comprises an inductive transfer inductor, an inductive transfer capacitor and an inductive transfer branch power semiconductor device which are connected in series. The transfer current circuit also comprises a bridge circuit. The bridge circuit comprises a main loop inductor. The main loop inductor and the inductive transfer inductor are coupled so as to form a mutual inductor. In the invention, rapid current disconnection can be realized, and a control size and manufacturing cost of the circuit breaker can be effectively reduced. The inductive transfer circuit is used to realize rapid current transfer. A main loop capacitor does not need precharging. Isolation of a secondary charging circuit and a main loop is realized, a transfer speed is fast and disconnection reliability is high.
