Embodiment Construction

[0042] The implementation of the present application will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings and examples, so as to fully understand and implement the implementation process of how the present application uses technical means to solve technical problems and achieve technical effects.

[0043] In a typical configuration, a computing device includes one or more processors (CPUs), input / output interfaces, network interfaces, and memory.

[0044] Memory may include non-permanent storage in computer readable media, in the form of random access memory (RAM) and / or nonvolatile memory such as read only memory (ROM) or flash RAM. Memory is an example of computer readable media.

[0045] Computer-readable media, including both permanent and non-permanent, removable and non-removable media, can be implemented by any method or technology for storage of information. Information may be computer readable instructions, data structures, modules of a progr...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method and an apparatus for scheduling tasks in a data warehouse. When a user needs to start a batch of task nodes in batches, according to input information of the user, a scheduling system of the data warehouse executes the following steps of receiving operation used for newly creating a virtual task node and input by the user; receiving operation used for associating the newly created virtual task node with the batch of the task nodes started in batches, and input by the user; and when the newly created virtual task node is started, scheduling the task nodes to execute tasks according to an executive sequence of the task nodes on paths from the newly created virtual task node to leaf nodes of the batch of the task nodes started in batches by the scheduling system of the data warehouse; and after the task nodes execute the tasks, outputting executive results of the batch of the task nodes started in batches to the user. Therefore, the problem of low task scheduling and management efficiency at present can be solved.

Description

technical field [0001] The present application relates to the technical field of data warehouses, in particular, to a task scheduling method and device in data warehouses. Background technique [0002] The data warehouse is an independent data environment, and the data is imported into the data warehouse from the online transaction processing environment, external data sources and offline data storage media through the extraction process. Its purpose is to establish a structured data storage space, separate data from different data sources, form a unified and effective data set, and finally process and integrate it into the required data. [0003] ETL (Extraction-Transformation-Loading) is the process of data extraction, cleaning, transformation and loading. It is an important part of building a data warehouse. Users extract the required data from the database, after data cleaning, and finally load the data into the data warehouse according to the pre-defined data warehouse...
