Abstract

The invention discloses a video transmission signature method. The method comprises the steps of setting a video text content code to be a first threshold, and setting a video attribute signature to be a second threshold; dividing each frame of the N frame, the N+1 frame and N-1 frame of a video into a plurality of cells, and computing a video attribute for each cell of each frame; and computing difference measurements between the N frame and the N+1 frame and between the N frame and the N-1 frame based on the video attribute of each frame, comparing the difference measurements with the threshold, and if the difference measurement between the N frame and the N+1 frame exceeds the first threshold and the difference measurement between the N frame and the N-1 frame does not exceed the second threshold, using information from the N and N+1 frames as a video signature. According to the method provided by the invention, the text content and the attribute content of the digital video are segmented, the corresponding thresholds are set, and the difference measurements of the frames are computed and compared with the first threshold and the second threshold, so that the video signature is confirmed and performed.
