[0011] The present invention uses SpirentTestCenter as test equipment, with test management PC, SpirentTestCenter, the router that is tested is connected, connection relationship (referring to Figure 4 ). Spirent Communication provides us with an available API. We use TCL language as the scripting language to automatically generate test scripts based on the graphical network topology configured by the user, and realize automated testing on the basis of omitting the complicated OSPF routing protocol LSA configuration. SpirentTestCenter can simulate routing topology at the software level, so when only testing one routing component, it can also simulate the routing oscillation of the router under test in various routing topology structures. The same effect can also be achieved by using the TCL test script, so the present invention can realize automatic testing of the routing capacity, routing convergence and routing oscillation of the OSPF network of any topology.

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for patterning a simulation OSPF network and realizing a routing capacity, routing convergence and routing oscillation automatic test, and relates to the technical field of the patterning of the simulation OSPF network and the routing capacity, routing convergence and routing oscillation automatic test. The method mainly comprises the steps of establishing an arbitrary OSPF routing topology by a user in a patterning mode; automatically generating corresponding TCL test scripts according to established topology parameters and test configuration parameters; and calling the test scripts to realize the routing capacity, routing convergence and routing oscillation automatic test. The method has the beneficial effects that the OSPF simulation network with the arbitrary topology is established in a patterning and mouse dragging mode; the RFC2544 stated routing capacity, routing convergence and routing oscillation test scripts are automatically generated through utilization of a TCL language; the test scripts are performed automatically; and a test result is reported. A tester unfamiliar with an OSPF protocol LSA generation principle and the device operation of a special test instrument can easily finish the routing capacity, routing convergence and routing oscillation automatic test under the arbitrary topology.
