The method comprises the steps of (a), setting a mark point which reflect light strength of the VRcamera; (b), emitting light from the VR camera, capturing the light and reflecting the light to the VR camera by the mark point, and acquiring a required least receiving light strength of the mark point; (c), back-deriving the equivalent light strength of the VR camera according to the longest distance between the mark point and the VR camera and the required least receiving light strength of themark point; and (d), calculating the number of least required LED lamps for the VR camera according to the equivalent light strength of the VR camera. According to the method of the invention, based on a light propagation mode in motion capturing, the number of the least required LED lamps for a field is determined according to the light strength change. The method of the invention is suitable forselecting the VR camera after the field is determined. The method can supply a basis for reasonably selecting the VR camera, thereby reducing cost, waving energy and realizing environment-friendly performance.
