Abstract

The invention relates to a water purifying agent used for industrial wastewater. The water purifying agent used for industrial wastewater comprises an ion exchange resin, active carbon, a flocculatingagent, and a carbonate. In applications, active groups on the ion exchange resin are used for ion exchange so as to remove heavy metal ions in industrial wastewater, recycling of industrial wastewater and recycling heavy metal solution are realized; the carbonate is capable of reducing the concentration of hydrogen ions, and realizing reaction of hydroxyl ions with residual metal ions so as to obtain precipitate, and the precipitate is removed via filtering; the inorganic flocculating agent is capable of realizing rapid precipitation of particles in wastewater, and obtained sediment is removed via filtering; and active carbon is capable of absorbing color substances generated in reaction process, and realizing clarification of water. The water purifying agent is excellent in industrial wastewater purifying effect because of cooperation of the four ingredients.
