The invention relates to fly ash sintering-expanded haydite, an energy-saving treatment method of fly ash, and specifically an energy-saving treatment method of casting fly ash. The energy-saving method comprises the following steps: mixing a main material and fly ash, adding clear water, and stirring to form a muddy substance, wherein the main material one or a mixture of more components selectedfrom clay, shale, sludge and waste incineration substances; granulating the muddy substance to generate raw material balls, heating the raw material balls to 500-600 DEG C for the first time, carrying out heat preservation treatment, continuously carrying out heating treatment for a second time, cooling, and feeding an obtained product into a vibrating screen to obtain the fly ash sintering-expanded haydite with different particle sizes. According to the method, a large amount of heat is provided by fly ash in fly ash firing, so that the natural gas consumption of sintering-expanded haydite is reduced, the fuel cost is saved, the economic benefit can be improved compared with common haydite, and the energy-saving treatment method has the advantages of low energy consumption, good performance, no harm, wide range, recyclability and the like.
