Abstract

The invention provides a magneto-resistance sensor. The sensor comprises multiple longitudinally long-strip-shaped slopes, magnetic field sensing units and a self-checking coil; the slopes are arranged on a substrate in parallel successively, and each slope comprises a bottom surface and first and second inclination surfaces distributed at the two sides of the longitudinal extension direction of the bottom surface respectively; each magnetic field sensing unit comprises a magneto-resistance strip extending along the magnetic easy axis, the first and second inclination surfaces of each slope form the magnetic field sensing units respectively, and the direction of the magnetic easy axis of each magnetic field sensing unit is consistent with the longitudinal extension direction of the corresponding slope; and the self-checking coil is positioned under or over the bottom surfaces of the multiple longitudinally long-strip-shaped slopes, and comprises leads which are arranged in parallel successively, the extension direction of the lead is consistent with the longitudinal extension direction of the slope, and the leads are connected in series successively to form the self-checking coil in a snakelike coiling manner. Compared with the prior art, the self-checking coil arranged in the sensor is short in coiling path and low in coiling resistance and occupies small chip area during coiling.
