Abstract

The method comprises the steps that a carton image is divided into a carton edge area and a carton background area accordingto the size of a difference value of local gray level; in the carton edge area, an edge quality score of the carton image is acquired by calculating the distance between a sharpness statistical histogram of a carton image edge area and a sharpness statistical priori model of a high-quality carton image; in the carton background area, a background texture score of the carton image is acquired by calculating the distance between a local quantilization coding histogram of the carton image and a texture statistical priori model of the high-quality carton image; lastly, according to the edge quality score and the background texture score, a final image quality score is obtained.
