Abstract

The invention discloses an algorithm and a device for judging a vehicle driving state by using an accelerometer. The algorithm comprises the following steps: continuously acquiring a first acceleratedspeed vector of a vehicle to be identified collected by a triaxial accelerometer in real time; continuously calculating a quaternion of a gradual approach expected quaternion in real time, revolvingthe first accelerated speed vector according to the quaternion, wherein the quaternion represents a vehicle posture; performing yaw correction on the revolved accelerated speed vector; comparing the corrected accelerated speed vector with an accelerated speed vector threshold value, according to a comparing result, identifying a current driving behavior of the vehicle to be identified. Because a gradual approach technology is continuously used in a using process, the algorithm is capable of adapting various application scenes better: multiple pavement conditions, such as horizontal, ramp or jolt, and scenes, such as a relative placing angle between the triaxial accelerometer and the vehicle to be identified is changed, and a measuring error exists in the triaxial accelerometer; in addition, the algorithm does not need an initialization process, and is out of the box.
