Abstract

The invention provides a file descriptor leak detection method and device. The method comprises the steps that target process identification of a to-be-detected target process in a monitoring set is obtained; process identification of the process needing to be subjected to file descriptor leak detection is recorded in the monitoring set; the number of file descriptors of the target process in thecurrent cycle is counted; according to the number, counted in the current cycle, of the file descriptors, whether or not file descriptors leak in the target process is determined; if yes, alert logs are output to a corresponding client. Accordingly, file descriptor leak detection can be achieved.
