The method comprises the steps that: a target SMF receives a session establishment request sent by an AMF, wherein the session establishment request is used for asking the target SMF to establish a second session for UE (user equipment), and the session establishment request at least carries identification information of a first session established by the UE; the target SMF obtains the information of a first user plane IP anchor connected to the first session according to the identification information ofthe first session; and the target SMF selects a second user plane IP anchor different from the first user plane IP anchor for the second session according to the information of the information of thefirst user plane IP anchor. In this way, the target SMF determines the information of the first user plane IP anchor connected to the first session and then selects the second user plane IP differentfrom the first user plane IP anchor for the second session which is asked to be established, and thus two sessions initiated by the UE on the same data network are connected to different user plane IP anchors.
