The double-pass-band filter comprises a metal cavity and a quadruple-mode dielectric resonator positioned in the metal cavity; two excitation structures are arranged on the side walls of the metal cavity; and a metal patch is arranged on the middle division surface of the dielectric resonator in the height direction. The double-pass-band filter has the following beneficial effects: the metal patch-loaded and quadruple-mode dielectric resonator-based double-pass-band filteradopts the single quadruple-mode resonator, so that the overall dimension is reduced and the cost is lowered; by changing the dimension of the metal patch in the dielectric, independence and controllability of two pass-band frequencies and band widths can be realized effectively, so that the design steps are simplified; and in addition, by virtue of design of two passing bands, the indexes can berealized more easily.
