The cycle includes 1) a high temperature level absorption/compression composite refrigeration cycle; 2) a low temperature level absorption/compression composite refrigeration cycle; and3) an engine waste heat defrosting system. Under the circumstances that waste heat exhausted by a fishing boat engine is sufficient, cooling capacity needed by a fishing boat refrigerating chamber and freezing chamber can be provided by the two-stage cascade absorption refrigeration cycle driven by the waste heat; and under the circumstances of insufficient waste heat, compression refrigeration can be carried out through a corresponding high temperature level and low temperature level compressor which are driven by the fishing boat engine, and therefore, the rest of cooling capacity needed bythe fishing boat refrigerating chamber and freezing chamber can be supplemented. Heat defrosting can be performed on the refrigerating chamber and the freezing chamber by using part of engine waste heat, so that the consumption of other energy can be saved, and good refrigeration effects of the refrigeration system can be guaranteed.
