Abstract

NB wireless communication involves many challenges. A limited frequency dimension may need to be shared by multiple users. Sometimes, large data transmissions comprising multiple TBs of data may be sent using NB communications, and it may be important for a user to successfully receive each TB. The apparatus may transmit data comprising a plurality of TBs in a narrowband communication system, including repeating the transmission of the plurality of TBs using any of a plurality of repetition patterns. The device can use error correction coding that spans multiple TBs. Transmissions can be single cell transmissions or multi-cell transmissions.
