Problems solved by technology

The usual method of network simulation is to simulate the characteristics of the network protocol stack and links through network simulation tool software. This method is targeted, but the disadvantage is that this method often only simulates the network protocol stack of each node, and cannot truly show the network The characteristics of the real host of each node in the network also affect the normal use of many network measurement tools in this type of network simulation

specific Embodiment approach 1

[0036] Specific implementation mode one: as figure 1 and figure 2 As shown, the overview of the invention is shown in figure 1 , the conceptual diagram of the content of the invention is as follows figure 2 . The method for simulating an autonomous domain-level network based on virtualization technology described in this implementation mode proposes a method for simulating an autonomous domain-level network topology based on virtualization technology based on known topological forms of autonomous domain level. The steps of the method mainly include:

[0037] 1. Obtain system input, obtain the topological information of the autonomous domain level, the simulated BGP router information distributed on each physical machine, etc., so that the topological form of the autonomous domain level is known. This simulation method needs to know the basic information of autonomous domains in the network and the adjacency relationship information between autonomous domains.

Embodiment

[0046] In order to solve the problem of network construction and simulation at the autonomous domain system level, the invention proposes an automatic network routing topology simulation method based on a router IP address allocation algorithm. The method proposed by the invention essentially uses a certain number of high-performance servers to simulate the network routing topology of the autonomous domain system level constructed by large-scale BGP routers.

[0047] Proceed as follows:

[0048] 1. Simulation conditions

[0049] It is assumed that the autonomous domain system-level information is given by two files, node-list and link-list (it can also be given in other forms). The node-list file is the individual information of the autonomous domain, including the autonomous domain number, autonomous domain name, and network prefix declared by the autonomous domain. The content of the link-list file is the adjacency information between autonomous domains. Each line in the l...

Abstract

The invention provides an autonomous domain-level network simulation method based on virtualization technology, which relates to the fields of network simulation and algorithm design. The present invention uses server clusters and virtualization technology to create and simulate hosts in the network to construct autonomous domain-level network routing topology. The invention simulates a BGP router for each autonomous domain by means of virtualization on one or more physical machines, and constructs BGP sessions among the BGP routers to form a simulated network topology. According to the collected autonomous domain number, the prefix declared by the autonomous domain, the adjacency relationship of the autonomous domain, and the commercial relationship of the autonomous domain, the routing topology of the autonomous domain-level network formed by BGP routers of a certain scale is simulated on a limited number of physical machines. The simulated BGP router topology can truly reflect the collected autonomous domain adjacency and the attributes of the links between autonomous domains; each simulated BGP router selects routes according to the BGP routing protocol, and its routing behavior is consistent with that of the real BGP router.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the field of network simulation and algorithm design; in particular, the present invention relates to a method for assigning IP addresses to BGP routers according to the adjacency relationship at the autonomous domain level, and a method of simulating the topology of BGP routers on a physical machine using a series of technologies such as virtualization method. Background technique [0002] At present, the Internet and large Internet service providers (ISPs) are divided into a large number of autonomous domain systems (Autonomous System, AS), and the autonomous domain system defines the management area and the routing policy acting on the range of the autonomous domain system. The Internet-level routing structure is generally divided into two types: intra-domain routing and inter-domain routing. For intra-domain routing, there are a variety of intra-domain routing protocols, including Open Shortest Path Finite (OSPF) p...
