Abstract

The invention relates to an electro-pyrotechnical igniter, comprising: a metal case (10) containing pyrotechnic material, comprising at least one vent (13) in one side wall (11); a cap (20) made of anelectrically insulating material covering the metal case (10) at least in the region of said at least one vent (13); and a plastic overmoulding (30) covering at least one end of the cap (20), characterised in that the metal case (10) comprises at least one shoulder (14) arranged between the side vent (13) and an area of the metal case (10) opposite the end of the cap (20) covered by the overmoulding.
