Abstract

The invention discloses a micro ring resonator-based wavelength switching-uninterrupted optical router, which comprises a first optical waveguide with a first-end input port and a first-end output port, a second optical waveguide with a second-end input port and a second-end output port, two micro rings, a first heater and a second heater, wherein the first-end input port of the first optical waveguide and the second-end output port of the second optical waveguide are coupled with the first micro ring respectively; the first micro ring and the second micro ring are coupled; the first heater modulates the first micro ring; and the second heater modulates the second micro ring. During a process with the resonant wavelength of the first micro ring switched to a wavelength 3 from a wavelength1, if optical signals with a wavelength 2 between the two wavelengths are inputted, the optical signals with the wavelength 2 are caused to be outputted from a downloading end due to resonance, and transmission of the optical signals with the wavelength 2 at a direct connection end is interrupted.
