Abstract

The invention discloses a compression sensing multi-layer residual image coding method, which is characterized in dividing a compression sensing random measurement process into a plurality of layers,by using the compression sensing reconstruction-measurement model, predicting the random measurements of the current layer based on all the random measurements of the front layer, so as to obtain theresidual between the predicted value and the real value of the current layer. The obtained residuals are used to update the predicted values of the next layer, thus obtaining more accurate reconstructed images. The proposed compressed sensing random measurement prediction and updating process can effectively remove the redundant information between compressed sensing measurements. Compared with traditional compressed perceptual coding scheme, the proposed compression sensing multi-layer residual quantization coding can significantly improve the rate-distortion performance of compression sensing image coding.
