Embodiment 1

[0042] According to the implementation mode of the present application, a kind of reference frame generation method based on bidirectionally predicted B-frame image is proposed, such as figure 2 shown, including:

[0043] Step 101: Acquire a first reconstructed image and a second reconstructed image whose time distance is equal to and reversed from the B frame image to be encoded;

[0044] Specifically, according to the current moment where the B-frame image to be encoded is located, the first reconstructed image and the second reconstructed image whose time interval is equal to the current moment and whose directions are opposite are acquired in the decoded buffer (DPB) , and the time interval between the moment of the first reconstructed image and the moment of the second reconstructed image is the smallest.

[0045] More specifically, denote the image of the B frame to be encoded as B current , denote the first reconstructed image as P i , denote the second reconstructe...

Embodiment 2

[0104] According to the embodiment of the present application, a reference frame generation device based on bidirectionally predicted B-frame images is also proposed, such as Figure 6 shown, including:

[0105] An acquisition module, configured to acquire a first reconstructed image and a second reconstructed image whose time distance is equal to and reversed to that of the B-frame image to be encoded;

[0106] A generating module, configured to generate a predicted image of the B-frame image to be encoded according to the first reconstructed image and the second reconstructed image acquired by the acquiring module;

[0107] The enhancement module is used to enhance the quality of the prediction image generated by the generation module to obtain the reference frame of the B-frame image to be encoded.

[0108] According to the implementation manner of this application, the acquisition module is specifically used for:

[0109]According to the current moment where the B-frame ...

Abstract

The invention discloses reference frame generation method and device of a B-frame image based on bidirectional prediction, and belongs to the technical field of video coding. The method comprises thefollowing steps: acquiring a first reconstructed image and a second reconstructed image which are equal in time distance and reverse in direction to the B-frame image to be coded; generating the predicted image of the B-frame image to be coded based on the first reconstructed image and the second reconstructed image; and performing quality enhancement on the predicted image so as to obtain the reference frame of the B-frame image to be coded. The generated reference frame and the B-frame image to be coded are enabled to be at the same moment by bidirectional prediction so as to improve the prediction quality of the B-frame image to be coded.

Description

technical field [0001] The present application relates to the technical field of video coding, and in particular to a method and device for generating a reference frame based on a bidirectionally predicted B-frame image. Background technique [0002] With the wide application of multimedia technology and the increasing expansion of multimedia data, the importance of video coding technology has become increasingly prominent. Modern coding techniques employ a hybrid coding framework, including processes such as prediction, transform, quantization, and entropy coding. Among them, predictive coding includes intra-frame prediction and inter-frame prediction. The former is to use the coded and reconstructed image block in the same frame image to predict the current image block to be coded, and the latter is to use the coded and reconstructed image of other frames. Make predictions for the image currently to be encoded. Because inter-frame predictive coding utilizes the time corr...
