The present invention discloses a control method and device of a structured light projector, a depth camera and an electronic device. The control method comprises the steps of: obtaining a depth imageof a scene and an initial visual light image; determining whether the initial visual image has a face or not; if yes, calculating a distance between the face and the structured light projector according to the initial visual light image and the depth image; and regulating the light-emitting power of the structured light projector according to the distance. The control method and device of the structured light projector, the depth camera and the electronic device can regulate the light-emitting power of the depth camera according to the determination of whether the initial visual light image has a face and can regulate the light-emitting power of the structured light projector according to the distance between the face and the structured light projector when the initial visual light imagehas the face so as to avoid the problem that the too high light-emitting power of the structured light projector damages the user's eyes and improve the safety of usage of the electronic device.
