The method comprises receiving a network topology displaying request; generating a resource request according to the network topology displaying request; constructing a plurality of resource model objects according to the resource request; according to the plurality of resource model objects, separately constructing topological model objects, and displaying the network topology by using the plurality of topological model objects. In the embodiment of the present invention, the network topology displaying request is distinguished from the resource request, and the resource model objects are constructed according to the resource request; then the topological model objects are constructedby using the multiple resource model objects, thereby achieving the network topology. The method converts the network topology displaying request into a resource request for multiple resource model objects, and uses the multiple resource model objects to construct the network topology to achieve efficient displaying of the network topology.
