This invention discloses a method for preparing a standard decoction of
Apocynum venetum leaves and its quality testing, belonging to the field of
traditional Chinese medicine quality research technology. The invention includes the following steps: Weigh an appropriate amount of
Apocynum venetum leaf slices, place them in a clay pot, and decoct twice. For the first decoction, add 12 times the amount of water, soak for 30 minutes, bring to a boil over
high heat, then simmer over low heat for 30 minutes. For the second decoction, add 10 times the amount of water, bring to a boil over
high heat, then simmer over low heat for 20 minutes. Filter the decoction through a 200-mesh
sieve, cool the filtrate to
room temperature in a cold water bath, combine the two filtrates, and concentrate under vacuum at 50°C and an absolute vacuum of 30–40 mbar until a
fluid extract with a weight ratio of approximately 1:1 is obtained. Collect the concentrate and freeze-dry to obtain the sample. This invention determines the main content, characteristic chromatograms, and extractives of
Apocynum venetum leaves after decoction preparation, and investigates the transfer rate. It provides an
objective quality standard to measure the component transfer from the slices to the decoction, ensuring the quality and effectiveness of the decoction.
