Abstract

The method comprises the following steps: 1) three-dimensional scanning is carried out on a modelrequiring removable partial denture restoration; 2) designing that removable partial denture with the CAD software of the removable partial denture; 3) designing and 3D printing a dental preparation guide plate based on the designed removable partial denture; 4) guiding by that tooth preparation guide plate to carry out tooth preparation on the model; 5) re-three-dimensional scanning and designinga new removable partial denture for the model of the tooth body prepared; 6) that removable partial denture newly design in the step 5) is manufactured so as to be able to be submit to clinical use together with the dental preparation guide plate. The invention is helpful to reduce the guiding error of the dental preparation guide plate of the removable partial denture, and can simultaneously complete the dental preparation and the denture wearing in the clinic; and the restoration precision and the efficiency of the removable partial denture are remarkably improved.
