Abstract

The invention discloses an energy storage peak load regulation system taking air as a medium, and the system comprises a first steam turbine generator set, an energy storage unit and a second steam turbine generator set. When a power grid needs a coal-fired generating set to participate in peak load regulation to reduce the on-grid electric power, the electric energy generated by the first steam turbine generator set is stored by the energy storage unit; when the coal-fired generating unit is required to increase the amount of on-grid electricity, the energy storage unit outputs the stored energy to the second steam turbine generator set for work and power generation so that the power is integrated into the power grid. During the valley of on-grid electricity price of the peak load regulation, an air compression storage system is activated to compress and store air, and the power of the coal-fired generating unit is consumed to reduce the amount of on-grid electricity. During the peakdemand of the grid and the peak of electricity price, the air compression storage system is activated to supply electricity to the outside. The system is matched with and adapts to the peak load regulation policy of the power grid, and utilizes the peak-to-valley difference of electricity price to improve the profitability of the unit.
