The embodiment of the invention provides an identity authentication method, device, terminal and medium based on biological recognition. The method includes the steps: obtaining identity information of a medical worker, and determining an identity authentication mode for authenticating the of the medical worker; performing identity authentication of the identity information of the medical worker in the identity authentication mode; authorizing the medical worker to use a patient identity authentication function when the identity information of the medical worker passes through the identity authentication; collecting the first user information of a target patient, wherein the first user information includes any one or more pieces of the following information: first face information, sound information, and first fingerprint information; matching the first user information with the second user information of the target patient stored in advance to obtain a matching result; and outputtingthe insurance fraud information when the matching result indicates that the matching fails. By adopting the invention, the insurance fraud behavior can be effectively prompted, thereby reducing the loss of a medical insurance fund.
