The set of inventions relates to medical devices, in particular to surgical retractors and wound retractors for displacing and securing
anatomy of a
surgical incision in a given position during
surgery to provide access to a surgical region of a patient's body. A removable clip for a surgical
retractor, made as an L-shaped curved member, includes a base provided with a device for fixation in a surgical
retractor and a microsurgical instrument recess, and a pair of teeth for holding an anatomical structure. The toothing is configured as a profiled plate with a working area widening to ensure contact with the anatomical structure, the widening being formed by a raised pad located at least on the inner and / or outer end edge side of the lower end of the plane of the toothing plate. The included angle between each
tooth part and the plane of the base is smaller than 90 degrees, and therefore gaps used for passing of microsurgical instruments are formed between the tooth parts. The surgical
retractor comprises a frame with a rack carrying a fixed arm and a movable arm, the fixed arm and the movable arm being hingedly connected to a
retainer for the detachable clip, where the
retainer is configured to receive at least one of the aforementioned detachable clips. A removable clip
assembly for a surgical retractor includes at least one central dual tooth removable clip; the at least one
peripheral double-tooth detachable clamp is constructed to be capable of accommodating the central double-tooth clamp between the tooth parts of the central double-tooth clamp; and at least one central single-tooth detachable clamp. The use of the invention provides an increased
working space and a higher degree of freedom of
surgical instrument operation, enabling access to the
lateral region of the operated structure during
surgery without extending the
skin incision.
