The parietal bones (/pəˈraɪ.ɪtəl/) are two bones in the skull which, when joined together at a fibrous joint, form the sides and roof of the cranium. In humans, each bone is roughly quadrilateral in form, and has two surfaces, four borders, and four angles. It is named from the Latin paries (-ietis), wall.

A non-full-covering single flight vehicle helmet comprises a helmet body, goggles are arranged on the front portion of the helmet body, a temporal bone-occipital bone annular air cushion is arranged on the inner wall of the lower portion of the helmet body, a top bone-frontal bone cap-shaped air cushion is arranged on the inner wall of the upper portion of the helmet body, an inflatable neck support is arranged at the bottom of the helmet body, a gas generator is arranged on the back of the helmet body, and the inflatable neck support is connected with the gas generator through a pipeline. The inflatable neck support is contained in a net-shaped braid arranged along the edge of the bottom of the helmet, the upper portion of the net-shaped braid is connected to an interlayer between the helmet and the parietal bone-frontal bone cap-shaped air cushion, and the net-shaped braid is made of elastic materials. The temporal bone-occipital bone surrounding air cushion and the parietal bone-frontal bone cap-shaped air cushion are both non-trigger type air cushions, are provided with snap fasteners connected with the helmet, and are both of a multi-layer structure. According to the scheme, the non-triggering air cushion is integrated in the helmet, and the triggering type neck support air bag is arranged, so that a pilot is effectively protected.

Headgear for masks

A headgear for use with a mask includes a first strap being configured to engage a back of a patient's head and extend on either side of the patient's parietal bone behind the patient's ears and assume, in use, a substantially circular or oval shape. At least a portion of the first strap is substantially inextensible. The headgear also includes at least one second strap configured to removably connect the first strap to the mask. The second strap may be more extensible than the first strap. At least a portion of the first strap is self-supporting such that the headgear maintains a three-dimensional shape when not in use. The substantially inextensible portion of the first strap is constructed to resiliently return to a predetermined shape when not in use. The arcuate region includes a first portion that may be arranged to align substantially parallel with a top of the patient's head and a second portion being arranged to align substantially to a rear surface of the patient's head.

Equine browband headguard

PCT designated stageWO2026064716A1Horse protectorsHarnessContact sportFrontal bone
An equine browband headguard includes a frontal portion and first and second lateral portions devised to protect prominent portions of an animal's head during gameplay in contact sports such as polo. Frontal portion is devised to seat between the zygomatic arches on the animal's forehead to overlie a frontal bone of a pony (or other animal), protecting the sutures between the nasal bone, frontal bone, and parietal bone, as well as the sinus cavity thereunder. First and second lateral portions are devised to overlie temporomandibular joints. The equine browband headguard is devised to install into an existing bridle with minimal reconfiguration, essentially replacing an existing browband. The equine browband headguard has been devised to present a low-profile, elegant addition to the tack of sporting animals engaged in contact sports like polo and may present a surface for team insignia or branding.

Three-dimensional eye burst measurement method based on skull stable reference surface, computer readable storage medium and electronic equipment

The invention discloses a three-dimensional eye burst measurement method based on a skull stable reference plane, a computer readable storage medium and electronic equipment. The method comprises the following steps: constructing a Frankport plane according to preoperative skull three-dimensional CT (Computed Tomography) image data; marking symmetrical stable anatomical mark points on two sides of the skull, establishing a preoperative skull stable reference plane MTM vertical to the Frankport plane based on a connecting line of the stable anatomical mark points, and taking an intersection point of the MTM and the parietal bone as a preoperative parietal skull bony mark point T; calculating the preoperative ocular protrusion; carrying out rigid body registration on the postoperative and preoperative three-dimensional CT images of the skull; the position of the preoperative skull crest bony mark point T after registration is determined, and a postoperative skull stable reference plane MTM'is reconstructed by combining symmetrical stable anatomical mark points on the two sides of the skull identical to the preoperative skull crest bony mark point T; calculating the postoperative eye protrusion degree; and calculating the difference value of the ocular protrusion before and after the operation to obtain the variation of the ocular protrusion. The method has the advantages that the method supports preoperative and postoperative consistent measurement, and the eyeshade degree is accurately quantified in a three-dimensional space.
