Abstract

The invention discloses a mid-long-term prediction method of saury resource abundance based on Pacific oscillation index, which comprises the following steps: monthly Pacific oscillation index PDO value of the northwest Pacific area is acquired where the saury is distributed in the previous N years; the time series analysis method is adopted, the correlation between the abundance of saury resources CPUE and the monthly PDO value of the previous N years is analyzed, and the monthly PDO value of P < 0.05 is obtained. The monthly PDO value was used as the climatic factor affecting the abundance of saury resources. The results showed that the abundance of saury resources CPUE is correlated with the monthly PDO value. Multivariate linear equation is used to establish several abundance prediction models of saury resource and to calculate P value statistically.
