Abstract

The invention discloses a method for measuring the angular velocity of a synchronous generator for a double-input power system stabilizer, and the method comprises the following steps: 1) measuring the voltage of the synchronous generator, measuring the current of the synchronous generator, and generating a signal of the synchronous generator Xq; 2) synthesizing the internal potential of the synchronous generator by using the voltage and current of the synchronous generator; and 3) measuring a frequency signal of the internal potential of the synchronous generator. The method can be used for accurately measuring the angular velocity signals of double-input power system stabilizers such as, PS2A/2B, PSS3B and PSS4B, and through RTDS tests and field verification, an excitation system can provide enough damping when the synchronous generator generates low-frequency oscillation, thereby guaranteeing the stable operation of a power system. Moreover, the measurement precision is high.
