The atrial fibrillation detection device comprises a heart beat interval extracting module, aninterval variation value calculating module, an atrial fibrillation score determining module and a comparing and judging module, wherein the atrial fibrillation score determining module is used for calculating the accumulated atrial fibrillation scores of a series of heart beat interval variation values according to a preset variation value-score mapping table; and the comparing and judging moduleis used for comparing the accumulated atrial fibrillation scores with a preset score and judging whether the detected heart beat signal fragment has atrial fibrillation or not according to the comparing result.
