The vehicle storage detection system comprises a stereoscopic parking device, a sensor and a control module, wherein the sensor is connected with the control module; the stereoscopic parking device is provided with a vehicle carrying plate and a plurality of first indicating components, a detection device for detecting whethera vehicle deviates is arranged on a side face of the vehicle carrying plate, and the detection device is connected with the control module; the stereoscopic parking device is provided with a second indicating component for observing whether the vehicle deviates, the sensor is used for detecting whether a vehicle is about to be stored in a preset area, and the control module can be used for controlling the operation of the first indicating components, the second indicating component and the detection device. By adoption of the vehicle storage detection system and method disclosed by the invention, efficient parking can be performed under the condition that the width of the vehicle carrying plate is relatively small, thereby saving time and reducing the energy consumption.
