Abstract

The invention discloses an auxiliary sheep herding method for monitoring the number of sheep flocks in real time. The method comprises the following steps: collecting a video image of the entire herded sheep flock in real time, and pre-processing the video image; using a point with the maximum sheep flock density in the preprocessed video image of the entire herded sheep flock as a tracking target; and filtering the tracking target through a Kalman filtering algorithm, estimating and predicting the motion state of the herded sheep flock, adjusting the tracking flight route of an unmanned aerial vehicle, and controlling the unmanned aerial vehicle to track the herded sheep flock in real time. According to the auxiliary sheep herding method disclosed by the invention, the video image of theentire herded sheep flock is captured by the unmanned aerial vehicle in a flight process in real time, the point with the maximum sheep flock density is calculated, the point with the maximum sheep flock density is used as the tracking target, and the unmanned aerial vehicle is controlled to track the sheep flock for flight; and meanwhile, the number of sheep flocks is calculated, the calculated number of sheep flocks is compared with the actual number of sheep flocks to perform real-time tracking and supervision and loss alarm on the sheep flocks.
