Abstract

According to the embodiment of the invention, the invention provides a method and a device for identifying characters in an image, equipment and a medium. A method of identifying a character in an image includes: extracting a feature representation of the image; determining a respective plurality of attention feature representations for the plurality of character recognition models by applying anattention mechanism to the feature representations, wherein the plurality of character recognition models are configured for recognizing a plurality of types of characters respectively; and respectively processing the plurality of attention characteristic representations by using the plurality of character recognition models so as to recognize the characters related to the plurality of types in the image. In this way, the expected characters in the image can be recognized more directly, accurately and rapidly.
