Abstract

The invention discloses a code stream acquisition method, device and system, and belongs to the technical field of video monitoring. The code stream acquisition method comprises the following steps: after a first working node is determined as a standby node and a target main node corresponding to the first working node is determined, establishing communication connection with a target video monitoring node group of which the target main node needs to acquire a video stream; monitoring a target main node; and when it is monitored that the target main node breaks down within the first monitoringduration, obtaining video streams from the target video monitoring node set through communication connection, wherein the first monitoring duration is smaller than second monitoring duration used formonitoring whether the target main node breaks down or not by the management node. According to the invention, when the first working node monitors that the target main node has a fault, the video stream is obtained from the target video monitoring node group through the communication connection, so that a large amount of same redundant data is effectively prevented from being stored in a video monitoring system, and additional network overhead is prevented from being increased by the standby node.
