Abstract

The present invention relates to a mask bead (10) for a patient interface, comprising a nose bridge region (11), at least one side region (12), a base region (13), a mask bead attachment (21), and a bearing region (14) on the patient. The bearing region (14) extends from the side regions (12) and the base region (13) and also the nose bridge region (11) to an opening (15) and is designed as a sealing lip which frames the central opening (15) which serves at least for the introduction of the nose of the patient.
