Abstract

The method comprises the following steps: dividing the main arc current of a plasma power supply into a plurality of equal parts according to a set numerical value, when the main arc current of the plasma power supply is progressively increased according to the numerical value corresponding to each equal part, shooting a plasma arc flame diameter image through an image acquisition system, making each shot original image correspond to each plasma arc flame diameter, in initiation of powdering, shooting the plasma arc flame diameter, respectively comparing and identifying a plurality of the shot detection images with a plurality of the original images, and if it is determined that the flame form of atleast one detection image is same as that of at least one original image, determining the plasma arc flame length of the original image matched with the first detection image as the plasma arc flame length of the first detection image.
