Embodiment Construction
[0010] The improved flying insect trap of the present invention comprises a box body, an insect attracting light source and at least one fly stopping device. The enclosure may contain two, three, four or more reflective surfaces which ensure that the radiant light from the insect attractant light source is largely radiated and reflected to form an attractant light image on the substantially planar mounting surface. The light shown in the lure image attracts flies to the fly trap. Flies tend to land on the illuminated image, box or other surface of the trap.
