Abstract

The invention discloses a method for manufacturing and testing ideal cracks of a metal material. The manufacturing method comprises the following steps: processing the metal material into a flat plate; prefabricating notch cracks in the flat plate; placing pressure transmission pieces on the two surfaces of the flat plate to form a sandwich structure, wherein a contact range of the pressure transmission pieces and the flat plate covers the notch cracks; and heating and pressurizing the sandwich structure so that a thickness of the range of the notch cracks on the flat plate is reduced, and notch crack surfaces are folded again to form an ideal crack surface similar to fatigue cracks. Prefabricating of the ideal cracks is achieved through a thermoplastic forming characteristic of the metalmaterial, an effective technical basis is provided for measurement of the amorphous alloy plane strain fracture toughness, the measurement of the small sample material plane strain fracture toughnessis facilitated, deformation in an ideal crack tip expansion process is conveniently monitored, a process is simple, and cost is low.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of materials, and in particular relates to a method for preparing and testing an ideal crack of a metal material. Background technique [0002] Amorphous alloy is a metastable material obtained by rapid cooling of metal at the temperature of its supercooled liquid phase region. It has excellent properties such as thermoplasticity, high elasticity, high strength, high hardness, soft magnetic properties, corrosion resistance and wear resistance, and is very There is no plastic deformation mechanism such as dislocation slip in crystal alloys, and its unique shear band deformation mode presents the phenomenon of brittle fracture at room temperature macroscopically. This phenomenon leads to great challenges in the fracture toughness test of amorphous alloys. [0003] Prefabricated ideal cracks are the standard method for plane strain fracture toughness testing. The existing ideal cracks are obtained by fatigue lo...
