Abstract

The invention discloses a wide-viewing-angle quick splicing method for high-resolution images, which aims to improve the image matching speed and precision, and comprises the following steps of: performing down-sampling processing on a plurality of original images to be spliced; determining an overlapping region between the down-sampled images; detecting feature points in the overlapping region byadopting an SURF algorithm; for the detected feature points, adopting a BRIEF algorithm to generate feature point descriptors; for the feature point descriptors, adopting a Brute-Froce Matcher algorithm to carry out feature point pair coarse matching; calculating a Hamming distance between the two feature point descriptors, and removing wrong matching; carrying out fine matching by using an RANSAC algorithm, solving a homography matrix, and obtaining a relative position relationship between the images; and performing image fusion processing on the overlapping regions of the original images based on a gradual-in gradual-out weighted average algorithm so as to fuse and splice the overlapping regions into a wide-viewing-angle image.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of image processing, and in particular relates to a method for splicing multiple pictures of the same scene with overlapping parts into one wide viewing angle image. Background technique [0002] Image stitching technology is a technology that combines several overlapping images (which may be images obtained at different times, different viewing angles, or different sensors) into a seamless wide-angle panoramic image. [0003] Image mosaic technology has become an important research topic in computer graphics and computer vision, and has been widely used in military and civilian applications. According to different application occasions, image stitching technology can be divided into real-time video image stitching technology and static image stitching technology. The demand for wide field of view video and panoramic images is reflected in the surveillance video used in daily life, which can greatly improve...
