Abstract

Provided is a tire manufacturing method that contributes to improvement in the productivity and the quality of a tire. The manufacturing method for a pneumatic tire includes the steps of: (A) measuring a thickness of a first formed product formed by winding a plurality of rubber members including a carcass ply around a first drum; (B) measuring a thickness of a second formed product formed by winding a plurality of other rubber members including a tread around a second drum; (C) combining the first formed product and the second formed product with each other, to form a raw cover; and (D) vulcanizing the raw cover for a vulcanization time that is determined on the basis of the thickness of the first formed product and the thickness of the second formed product.
