The invention relates to an application performance monitoring method and system and a storage medium, and the system comprises a probe device which comprises a performance monitoring module used forcollecting and transmitting performance data, and a probe starting module used for determining whether to start the performance monitoring module or not according to forbidden configuration corresponding to a application process name; a probe deployment device which comprises a process naming module used for obtaining naming feature information and determining an application process name of an application process, which serves as a unique identifier of the application process, according to the feature information; an interceptor module which is used for mounting the probe starting module, so that the probe starting module is started in response to the starting of the application process; and a management module which is used for acquiring a determined application process name, providing the application process name for the server, acquiring the forbidden configuration corresponding to the application process name from the server, and providing the forbidden configuration for the probestarting module.
