Abstract

A motor vehicle seat has a seat base, a seat back ratatable between a first position where the seat back is vertical in general and a second position where the rear surface of the seat back is horizontal in general, relative to the seat base; and a projection extending from the lower edge of the seat back in the first position, wherein the projection is provided with a surface adjacent to the rearsurface of the seat back and configured to rotate together with the seat back such that the projection extends towards the rear of the seat base and the rear surface of the seat back and the surfaceof the projection together form the surface of a table.
