Abstract

The invention relates to a method for monitoring or tracking between mobile terminals (T1,..., T15) of the same group. According to said method, mobile terminals broadcast messages (10) in broadcast mode over a radio interface in accordance with a short-range digital communication protocol, the messages being able to be received by all of the other mobile terminals in the vicinity and able to communicate according to the protocol. The messages comprise encrypted data (24) obtained by encryption, at least, of an identifier of the emitter terminal (30) and a seed (26) intended for single use or having a short validity period. The encrypted data are decryptable only by a limited group of terminals.
