According to the embodiment of the invention, the candidate vehicle identifier set is firstly screened through the feature tag used for representing the vehicle type information, so that the target vehicle identifier corresponding to the to-be-identified vehicle identifier is matched in the candidate vehicle identifier set. When the vehicle identifier cannot be identified, the vehicle type information can be used as the auxiliary identification information, so that the rapid identification of the vehicle is realized in a mode of combining the vehicle type information and the vehicle identifier.
